If you would like students to be able to launch Redhawk Labs from their Canvas course, please reach out to cdli@seattleu.edu and ask if they can add the Apporto app (the vendor for Redhawk Labs) to your Canvas course.

After it has been added you will see this option in your course. Please click on it as this creates a group for your course. Clicking on it opens a new tab with the desktops you have access to.

By default, the Redhawk Labs app is disabled and will need to be enabled for students to see it
Instructions
In Canvas, Click on Settings in the left-side menu
Click on Navigation in the top menu
At the bottom of the page, you will see a list of items that are hidden. Find Redhawk Labs and click Enable (this will make it visible to your class)
Don’t forget to click Save at the bottom of the page when you are done making your changes
Click Redhawk Labs on the side menu
This will create the course group on our end, and we can assign the appropriate desktop to your course Please create a ticket and let me know the course name and the desktop you need access to.
