The following provides instructions on how to install IBM SPSS Statistics on a Mac computer.

Download the most recent version of SPSS Statistics available in a zipped file folder at https://redhawks.sharepoint.com/sites/ITSDownloadsCenter. Be sure to select the one for MacOS. Once downloaded double click the folder to unzip/open.
Once the installer is open, continue through the Read Me and the License Agreement. You will have to agree to the license agreement
This will take you to the next screen, which will ensure you have enough room on your Mac to install the full program. Hit Install.
At this point, the program will prompt for a computer administrator’s username and password. If you are using SU-owned device and do not have administrative privileges, please reach out to the Service Desk for assistance.
The program will install after administrator privileges have been confirmed. Once the installer indicates that it is complete, a Finder window will open, showing what has been installed
Open SPSS Statistics, and a prompt should appear to open the license wizard. Select Launch License Wizard.
The License Wizard has two options for licensing. The current preferred way to license is the Concurrent User License option. Before selecting that option, ensure you are on the campus network, or that you are connected to our network via the Global Protect VPN.
The license wizard will ask for a license manager server name or IP address. Type ITS-LMS-APP1 in the box asking for the server name, and hit next.
If licensing was successful, the next screen should look something like the following image. If it does not, or if you get an error, please reach out to the Service Desk.
Hit Finish, and you can open SPSS as normal.

On the Product Authorization screen, choose Authorized user license and then click Next. You must be connected to the Internet to successfully complete the authorization process.
On the License Manager Screen, enter the code 4209df52a1619303299c (for version 29; contact Endpoint Management if an alternate version is required). Once you have entered the code, click Next to continue.
Once you're entered the authorization code, select Next and you would have a page like the following, then select Next.
On the Licensing Complete screen, click Finish to complete the installation.
NOTE: ITS suggests you open IBM SPSS Statistics once the installation has finished to ensure that the software has installed correctly.
