Click on the sound/speaker icon on your taskbar and adjust your volume to a suitable level. This will resolve the issue most of the time.

Should the above either fail or be insufficient, right-click on that same icon and select Open Sound settings
Ensure that the proper output device is selected and adjust volume accordingly
