Adding an Email to the Safe Sender List, will add this email to the user's contacts. Therefore, this contact would auto-populate. ITS does not manage personal mailbox permissions, so the user will have to do this themselves. Adding trusted emails to Safe Sender List can prevent email messages from non-SU domains from getting blocked/quarantined.

Instructions

  1. Go to Outlook on the web.

  2. Click on the “Settings” Icon near the top right corner of the page.

  3. Click on “View all Outlook settings” in the bottom.

  4. Click on the “Junk email” tab.

  5. Under “Safe senders and domains” click on “Add”.

  6. Enter the email address you wish to add to the Safe Senders list. You can do this in the future with any email address outside of SU to prevent messages from being blocked. You can also enter a domain (such as UW.edu or seattle.gov ) if you want to be able to receive from any email address from this domain/organization.
