This page covers how to view and add comments to a form.

This support page contains both a video guide and a support article. They both contain the same set of information/instructions.

  • When your action is required on a form, you will receive an email from Seattle U Forms. If the user from the previous step of the form’s workflow left you any comments, they will be included in the email as highlighted. Click on the link to access the form:

  • Once you click on the link from the email notification, the form in question will open in the right panel as shown:

  • To view comments posted on this form, click on the “History” icon in the action bar at the bottom of the page:

The red dot on the “History” icon indicates that other users have commented on the form.

  • After clicking on the “History” this box will open up:

Comments will be in grey boxes, while workflow steps will be in purple boxes.

  • You can scroll up to view any previous comments or workflow steps.

  • You can post a comment by typing it in at the bottom as shown:

If you need to comment, make sure that the comment is directed to the user in the next step of the form’s workflow. Do not reply to user’s from previous step or utilize the commenting feature as a way to chat with other users.

  • Make sure to click on “Save”, or else your comment will not be posted. After clicking on “Save”, your comment will be in its own grey box as shown:

  • Finally, to delete or edit your comment, simply click on the three red dots to the right of your comment as shown:
