This section will provide an overview of Slate functionality including how to log in, how to search for students, and a quick overview of tabs and dashboards.

How to login to Slate for Student Success:

  1. Navigate to https://success.seattleu.edu/manage

  2. Log in using your Seattle University account information (SSO) 

Search for Students:

  1. Select the “Records” icon in the upper left-hand corner

  2. Type the students name or Seattle U ID number

  3. A list of matching records will populate

*Note that on the right-hand side, you will see a list of record types to search. The “Person Population” is the most common population you will search, especially to locate a student record.

Viewing Information in Slate (tab views)

  1. Once a student record is selected, a dashboard will provide an overview of the student information. Additionally, a series of action buttons will be displayed at the bottom of the dashboard.

  2. Each “tab” will display information specific to the selected student.
