Third Party Mail Apps

Third party mail applications, like Thunderbird, may or may not be able to support Microsoft’s more secure email authentication methods. ITS does not recommend using a third party mail application. However, if you do and basic authentication is disabled, then you must switch the settings of your account in the 3rd party to us OAuth2.
