If you are not able to pick up your card at the event or signed up after, your card will be available at the Service Desk on the 3rd floor of the LEML library. We will contact the student when their card is ready to be picked up.
Q: What is the process for activating an eSIM?
A: Once we have their information, the IMEI on their device, we will put in a request to T-Mobile to process. Once processed, the student will just need to follow the prompts on the device. From that point the device will be active.

Q: My phone is not compatible with a T-Mobile SIM card. What are my options?
A: They must provide a compatible phone for this to work. Here is their page for checking compatible phones https://www.t-mobile.com/resources/bring-your-own-phone#imeiextender If a phone is not compatible, they will need to purchase a device that will work. We will not provide a phone. All of the iqoo’s are incompatible with our network.
Q: I just signed up for T-Mobile, can I switch to this plan?
A: If it is within the 14 day period, you can cancel your plan and sign up with us. If this included a new phone, you may need to pay a restocking fee. (Please note, this program only includes a SIM card, you will need to provide the phone.)
Q: I would like my number moved over, is this possible?
A: No, at this time we cannot support taking over ownership of outside lines, and will only be able to offer new numbers that already attached to our account.
Q: I would like to take ownership of the line after the program is over, is this possible?
A: With most carriers we can port your number over to T-Mobile. However, there are some companies that do not allow this. Once the program is over, we will send a communication out with information on when your line is eligible to have you take ownership and the next steps.
They will need our account number, and send a list to T-Mobile with the lines that are authorized to port out. For the pilot program members who elect to port their lines, they have until Sept 13th to let us know. We will batch the requests to T-Mobile to release the lines, and they will then need to work on their own to set up their account and have the line moved. l
