View and Search Email Categories
Desktop Outlook for Windows / Outlook for the Web-browser:
In the Search box along the top, select the three bars on the right side
If “Category” is not already an available filter, select “Add filters”
Check the box next to “Category,” select Save
You should now be able to see the Category filter and pick an existing Category to search by
Once a Category is chosen, select Search.
Outlook will show mail matching the Search options you specified.
Desktop Outlook for Mac:
Select the Search box along the top, then select the three bars on the right side
If “Category” is not already an available filter, select “Add more options”
Select “Category”
You should now be able to see the Category filter and pick an existing Category to search by
Once a Category is chosen, select Search.
Outlook will show mail matching the Search options you specified.
