Copy Cornish Gmail Data to a personal Gmail account

  1. Using a web browser, go to: 
    https://takeout.google.com/transfer 

  2. Sign in with your Cornish credentials. You will see the following screen:

  1. Enter the Destination Account (must be Gmail)

Enter the email address of the Google Gmail account you want to transfer your data to.

  1. Click “Send Code”

  2. Verify the Destination Account

    Sign in to the destination account’s email inbox (your personal account)

  3. Note: If you are using Google Chrome, you must have two separate Chrome Profiles open

    • One profile signed in to the destination account

    Alternatively, you may use two different web browsers, with each account signed in separately.

    If both accounts are signed in under the same browser profile, Google may not be able to correctly distinguish which account is authorizing the transfer and which account is receiving the data.

  4. Locate the verification email from Google in the destination account. Select “Get confirmation code."

  1. Copy the verification code.

    Return to the Google Takeout Transfer page, paste the code, and click “Verify.”

  1. Select Data to Transfer

    Select the data you would like to transfer

    • Google Drive

    • Gmail

  1. Click “Start transfer.”

     Transfer in Progress

     Your data transfer will begin automatically. You may close the browser at this time.

Once complete, the selected data will appear in the destination Google account.

For now, the original data will remain in your Cornish account unless manually deleted.
