Non-SSO Account Creation & Password Reset

This article is for everyone who is not a faculty or staff (who have SSO). 

Audience: Students, alumni, visitors, etc.  

Instructions

Create an Account

  1. Once you are on the IT Service Desk portal, select Log in to the upper right corner. 

     

  2. On Log in page, find Need an account? Sign up and select Sign up.

     

  3. On Sign up page, enter your non-SSO e-mail address in the Email text box, and click Send link. 

     

  4. In a few minutes, you will receive an e-mail in the mailbox, select the blue button Sign up. 

     

  5. On this sign-up page, the e-mail address you entered to sign up will appear under Email address. You will enter your full name and password in the textbox, and click on Sign up.

     

  6. This will lead you to the portal with your account logged in, and you have successfully created your account.  

  7. To the upper right corner, you can find a circular icon, click on it and under which you can navigate to your profile and update your account information. 

     

  8. Your profile would be in a format like the following. 

     

Reset Password

  1. If you forget your password, on the Log in page you will enter your e-mail you want to sign into and click Next

     

  2. Once you are on this page, click on Forgot your password?  

     

  3. A password reset link will be sent to your email. 

     

  4. A password reset email will look like this. Click on the blue button Reset my password. 

     

  5. This link will lead you to Create new password page, you could enter your new password and click Confirm to finish the password reset process.
