Please be aware of the following requirements before installing and using GlobalProtect:

  1. In the Windows Search field, enter company portal then click the Company Portal App

  2. Click the Apps option at the left

  3. Locate GlobalProtect in the Apps list, or enter global protect in the Search apps field at the top of the window

  4. Click GlobalProtect then click Install

  5. Open GlobalProtect

  6. If prompted for the Portal enter remote.seattleu.edu

  7. Enter your SeattleU userID in the form username@seattleu.edu when prompted

  8. Enter your password when prompted

  9. Complete the multi-factor authentication when prompted. Once successfully authenticated, the GlobalProtect window will show Connected as shown below. You are now connected to the internal SeattleU network and can access secured resources.

To run GlobalProtect as a different user, such as a student employee, you have to log out of all Microsoft authenticated services in order to be prompted for a different username and password. The steps are detailed in this support document(pending).
