Document Camera Instructions

Most Classrooms in SINE Labs have a document camera (aka “Doc Cam”) in the ceiling pointing down at the instructor’s computer desk. Every room with a ceiling doc cam should have a remote control like the one below, which will allow you to zoom the camera in and out and adjust focus - these controls are squared in red in the picture.

The remote should be kept in the cabinet where the PC and other AV equipment lives. The inside of the cabinet will look similar to the picture below, although not necessarily in a similar location depending on the room. The cabinet is not necessarily near the instructor’s station.

To use the doc cam, simply press the “On” button on the button panel, select Doc Cam as the source, and then use the remote to adjust the settings as needed!
