Step-by-step

Expand the appropriate section below for steps on finding your computer name.

 If you are on-campus and connected to the internet.
  1. Open your internet browser and go to mypc.seattleu.edu. Your computer name will be displayed on the screen. 

 If you are working off-campus or are not connected to the internet.

Mac

  1. Click on the Apple icon.

  1. Go to About this Mac > More Info. The computer name will be displayed at the top left.

PC

  • This works for devices being used off campus.

  1. Open the Start Menu.

  2. Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties. The computer name will be in the new window that opens.
