If your license has expired for Adobe Acrobat and you are running Acrobat Pro 2017, we will need to grant you a license for Acrobat and you will need to update to the latest version of Adobe.

To determine if your version of Acrobat is out of date, please follow these steps:

  1. Click the magnifying glass icon or search bar in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

  2. Type in the word “Adobe”.

  3. See the section below to determine if you need to upgrade Acrobat.


  • If you see Adobe Acrobat DC displayed (see below image for reference), you are up to date and you do not need to have Acrobat updated.

If you are receiving an expired message or cannot edit or protect PDFs, but you have Adobe Acrobat DC installed, please contact the Service Desk.
