Appealing a Parking Citation

Appealing a Parking Citation

  1. Pay attention to the “Appeal By” date on the citation - you must appeal your citation before this date, not on or after this date.

  2. Use an internet browser to navigate to https://seattleu.thepermitstore.com/

  3. In the box labeled ‘Pay/Appeal Notices’ please enter either the citation number or the license plate that is printed on the citation - do not enter in both - then hit search.

  4. Once the citation record is found, you will be able to view the details of the citation, including the date, time, location, and any evidence provided by the parking enforcement official. You will also see a button to Pay the citation amount, and a button to Appeal the citation, if you are within the Appeal timeframe stated on the citation.

  5. When appealing a citation, please provide as much information as possible in your appeal and ensure that any evidence has finished uploading before submitting your appeal.

  6. If you have waited to appeal your citation past the appeal deadline, you must contact Parking Services to petition for the citation to be re-opened for appeal. Re-opening of citations for appeal is solely at the discretion of Parking Services, therefore we encourage you to address citations as soon as possible after they are issued.
