GlobalProtect (VPN)

GlobalProtect is the Virtual Private Network (VPN) software used to connect a remote computer to the internal SeattleU network. It allows access to specific secure internal systems or data that are not accessible directly from the Internet. The Virtual Private Network is available for all Seattle University faculty, staff, students (limited access), and select vendors (limited access).

This software can be installed on a university-owned computer in one of two ways:

  1. Install onto a Windows computer from Company Portal

  2. Install onto a Windows or Mac computer from the client distribution packages posted at the ITS website. This requires admin rights. If you do not have admin rights please email the Service Desk and request a virtual appointment for a technician to assist you remotely. You will be prompted to enroll in MFA when you download the GlobalProtect application

  3. Install onto a Windows or Mac computer from the VPN portal https://remote.seattleu.edu. This requires admin rights. If you do not have admin rights please email the Service Desk and request a virtual appointment for a technician to assist you remotely. You will be prompted to enroll in MFA when you download the GlobalProtect application.
