Clear Java Cache in Windows 7

You may need to clear your Java Cache for a variety of reasons, especially after a major update to Colleague UI.

Step-by-step

If you are using this guide following major updates to Colleague UI, you will also want to clear your internet browser history and developed caches, and Silverlight cache. For instructions, see the links under Related Articles below.

  1. Click on the Start Menu, and click on Control Panel.

     

  2. In the Control Panel, click on Java.

     

  3. Under Temporary Internet Files, click Settings...

     

  4. Click Delete Files...

     

  5. Check the box for Installed Applications and Applets and click OK.
