How To Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies

Google Chrome

Instructions

  1. Launch Chrome

  2. At the top right of the page click on the three vertical dots (More)

  3. Click on Settings

  4. Click on Privacy and Security on the left side

  5. Click Clear browsing data

  6. Change the Time range setting to when you want to clear (e.i. Last hour, Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 4 weeks, All time)

OPTIONAL Uncheck the Browsing history box if you wish to retain your browsing history (not recommended)

7. Click on Clear data

8. Close and reopen Chrome

 

Firefox

Instructions

  1. Launch Firefox

  2. Click the three lines in the top right corner

  3. Click Settings

  4. Click Privacy & Security on the left side

  5. Scroll down until you see Cookies and Site Data and click Clear Data...

  6. Make sure to have both boxes checked and click Clear

  7. Close and reopen Firefox

 

Safari (on Mac)

Instructions

  1. Launch Safari

  2. Under the “Safari” drop-down menu, choose “Settings”

  3. Click on Settings

  4. Click on Privacy at the top:

 

  1. Click Manage Website Data

  2. Click Remove All

Clear data

  1. Close and reopen Safari.

 

Microsoft Edge

Instructions

  1. Launch Microsoft Edge

  2. Click the three dots in the top right corner

  3. Click Settings

  4. Click Privacy, search, and Services on the left

  5. Click Choose what to clear next to the Clear browsing data now

  6. Change the time range and make sure that Browsing history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files” are checked

  7. Click Clear now

  8. Close and reopen MS Edge
