Where to Save Visual Studio Projects

When creating a new project in Visual Studio make sure it is saved in your U drive.

Instructions

  1. Select the menu for Location

  2. Click on This PC

  3. Scroll down and double-click on DFS-MyDocuments (U:)

     

  4. Create a New Folder to store your Visual Studio project

     

  5. In this example, we named it VS Projects. Select it and click Select Folder

     

  6. Your project location should now be in your U drive. You can continue setting up your project
