New Student Account Activation

New students are provided with a single network account which provides access to Seattle University (SU) applications and services including email, Canvas, and mySeattleU. Each new student will need to activate their SU account to access important University resources. Please have your SU Username and temporary password available to activate your account. 

Username for mySeattleU: SU (e.g. jdoe instead of jdoe@seattleu.edu)

Instructions

Step-by-step:

  1. Go to https://pwreset.seattleu.edu/change.aspx and enter your SU Username and temporary password (in the old password field).

Your SU Username is the portion before the @-sign of your SU email address (e.g. jdoe instead of jdoe@seattleu.edu)

2. Create a new password. Your password must be at least 12 characters in length with no special characters. 

3. Once you have created your password, please refer to your admissions email for instructions on how to confirm your attendance to Seattle University.
