Guest Account Access

 

Temporary guest accounts can be requested for short-term access to select Seattle University resources by non-affiliate individuals. The following guest account types are available:

  • Guest- Provides access to select internal systems including classroom podium computers and lab computers.

  • Vendor- Commonly used for contractors. Provides access to select internal systems, select department-specific systems, and VPN. 

The life span of a guest account is as follows:

  • Guest and wireless Internet: max of 365 days.

  • Vendor: max of 365 days. Renewable at the end of the fiscal year.

All guests must change the password before using the account. Go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com > Password > Change Password, to change the password. Additionally guests must follow and abide by the Computer Acceptable Use Policy published at https://www.seattleu.edu/policies/.

Request a Guest Account

A SU staff or faculty member must request and sponsor the guest account. To request an account, please submit an email to the Service Desk with the guest's full name, dates they will be on campus and the sponsor's email address.
