Distribution List Guide ("ALL-" Groups)
There are different types of email distribution lists for different types of users. The guide below will help describe the members of each of the main distribution lists for students, faculty, and staff. Please be aware that only certain users and groups are allowed to send messages to these distribution lists. Messages from users without the proper permissions will be rejected. Requests for permissions to send to these distribution lists can be submitted to the Service Desk and will be approved by MarCom.
Student Distribution Lists

All-Current-Graduates | All-Current-Graduates@seattleu.edu | Contains graduate (GR) students that are marked as active in their academic program record. Students are added on their program start date and removed after their program end date. |
All-Current-NMA | All-Current-NMA@seattleu.edu | Contains non-matric (NM) students that are marked as active in their academic program record. Students are added on their program start date and removed after their program end date. |
All-Current-Undergrads | All-Current-Undergrads@seattleu.edu | Contains undergrad (UG) students that are marked as active in their academic program record. Students are added on their program start date and removed after their program end date. |
All-Current-Students | All-Current-Students@seattleu.edued | Contains undergrad, graduate, non-matric, and law-students that are marked active in their academic program record. Students are added on their program start date and removed after their program end date. |
All-Graduates | All-Graduates@seattleu.edu | Same logic as All-Current-Graduates. |
All-Incoming-Graduates | All-Incoming-Graduates@seattleu.edu | Contains prospective graduate (GR) students that are marked as admitted or confirmed, and plan to enroll in a future term. |
All-Incoming-Undergrads | All-Incoming-Undergrads@seattleu.edu | Contains prospective undergrad (UG) students that are marked as admitted or confirmed, and plan to enroll in a future term. |
All-NMA | All-NMA@seattleu.edu | Same logic as All-Current-NMA. |
All-Undergrads | All-Undergrads@seattleu.edu | Same logic as All-Current-Undergrads. |
All-Students | All-Students@seattleu.edu | Contains the All-Undergrads, All-Graduates, All-NMA, and Law-Students-All distribution lists. |
Faculty Distribution Lists

All-Part-Time-Faculty | All-Part-Time-Faculty@seattleu.edu | Users with specific faculty position types in their employee record, which is defined by HR Faculty Services. Faculty are added up to 8 weeks before their position start date and removed on their termination date. |
All-Affiliate | All-Affiliate@seattleu.edu | Users assigned the Affiliate status in their employee record. Affiliate faculty are added on their position start date and removed on their termination date. |

Staff Distribution Lists
